August brought great weather for our recent visitor day on the range, attracting families to experience rifle shooting in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren, individuals and new members all enjoyed shooting both full-bore (target rifle and F-Class) and 0.22 rifles under the careful eye of the Range Officer and the dedicated coaching team.

Held at the Club’s Western Australian Rifle Association Range in Pinjar, after watching a video and getting the safety briefing, it was off to the 300 metre range with short distance lead catcher targets (build by Club member Ken) set up for the 0.22 rifles.

A great day out for all.
